Sentence Case Fixer
Fix sentence starts, list items, and optional all-caps text locally while preserving acronyms, links, and email addresses.
Paste rough notes, release copy, support replies, list items, or draft paragraphs to make sentence starts easier to read. The fixer runs locally in your browser and keeps your original input unchanged until you copy or download the output.
Use normalize mode for all-caps drafts; use the default mode when internal capitalization should stay untouched.
How it works
The fixer capitalizes the first word of the text, the first word after sentence-ending punctuation, and optionally the first word after line breaks or list markers. It can also normalize all-caps drafts before applying sentence starts.
Use Capitalize sentence starts only when names, product terms, and internal capitalization should stay as written. Use Normalize sentence text first when pasted text is mostly uppercase or inconsistent and you want regular sentence-style body text.
Acronym, link, and email preservation are practical safeguards, not grammar review. Review output that depends on names, initialisms, code identifiers, trademarks, quotations, or language-specific casing.
Your text is processed locally in the browser. The tool does not upload, store, or fetch content. Very large documents can still slow a browser tab, so split long drafts before fixing them.
