How it works
QR codes encode text into a two-dimensional symbol with error correction. Higher error correction can survive more visual damage, while a quiet zone gives scanners blank space around the symbol.
Very long input, small print sizes, low contrast, glossy materials, or damaged surfaces can make a code difficult to scan. Test important codes with the scanner, device, and print size you plan to use.
