Pressure Converter
Convert SI, metric, atmospheric, mercury-column, and PSI pressure units with formulas and copy-ready output.
Enter a pressure amount, choose the source and target units, and generate a copy-ready conversion. The calculation stays in your browser and uses pascals as the common reference for SI, bar, atmosphere, torr, millimeters of mercury, inches of mercury, and PSI-based units.
Use a non-negative absolute pressure value. Commas as thousands separators and scientific notation are accepted.
How it works
The converter first expresses your input as pascals, the SI derived unit equal to one newton per square meter, then divides by the target unit pressure. Metric units follow powers of ten: kilopascals are 1,000 pascals and megapascals are 1,000,000 pascals.
Bar uses exactly 100,000 pascals and the standard atmosphere uses exactly 101,325 pascals. Torr is treated as 1/760 of a standard atmosphere. PSI uses the international pound-force and square inch relationship, with ksi equal to 1,000 psi.
Millimeters and inches of mercury are conventional pressure units included for weather, vacuum, and medical-adjacent notes. Millimeters of mercury are treated as the same reference as torr in this tool. These are reference conversions, not live liquid-column measurements, and do not model temperature, local gravity, altitude, gauge-vs-absolute context, or instrument uncertainty.
