How it works
A business day is counted when the date is not part of the selected weekend pattern and is not listed as a holiday or blackout date. Range counts can include or exclude the start and end dates, which helps match contract, shipping, support, and payroll conventions.
The deadline action starts from the start date and moves forward or backward by the requested number of business days. It skips weekend days and holiday dates, so adding one business day from a Friday with a Saturday/Sunday weekend lands on Monday unless Monday is listed as a holiday.
Calendar rules vary by country, organization, contract, and exchange. This tool does not fetch official holiday calendars; add the dates that apply to your plan before relying on the result.
